Jessica Tyson, of Te Atihaunui-a-Pāpārangi, has been a part of the Whakaata Māori newsroom since 2016. Formerly as a reporter for Te Kāea, Te Ao Māori News and Tapatahi, and as a presenter for midday news show Rereātea, she currently works as a reporter for the award-wining current affairs show Te Ao with Moana.
