The Australian National Māori Kapa Haka Festival 2014 - Te Toi o Ngā Rangi

Te Toi o Ngā Rangi from Poihākena was established by tutor Brooke Rawhitu Williams as a tribute to his kaumātua.

With a strong passion for Māori performing arts from a young age, Brooke's dream to bring his whānau together to perform has manifested into the close-knit group that stands today.

While his family has affiliations to many rōpū in Australia and Aotearoa, they continue to extend their reach out to their community, whilst promoting the proverb, "Ka pū te ruha, ka hao te rangatahi".

His co-tutor and co-leader is Mihi Mua.

Here is their whakaeke.
