Hinewirangi Kohu-Morgan is a poet, artist and activist who has helped Māori sex-abuse victims for the past 20 years.

Her experiences as a rape-victim, mental health patient and drug addict have been used to help inmates, offenders and paedophiles, Including the man she says raped her for years, celebrated Māori carver, the late Tuti Tukaokao.

As Iulia Leilua reports, her years of working to undo the hurt have become a powerful tool for her and others.
