The Rodney Tahu case has been adjourned just one day into it.
The case was put on hold so the judge could hear legal arguments from counsel.
This morning in the High Court at Rotorua two witnesses took the stand, a Tūrangi police constable and the pathologist who performed the autopsy on Tahu.
