Te Pū Ao is the last of the Tai Tokerau rōpū to take the stage at Te Matatini 2015, Pūtaringamotu.
Last year, the group placed fourth at Maranga Mai E Te Iwi, qualifying for this year's nationals.
Their hopes and aspirations to develop their performers to grow as leaders in the world around them, and promote excellence in te reo Māori and its customs, have flourished.
Their tutors are Martin, Recenia and Koea Kaka, and Robert and Kapuarangi Nathan, and their leaders today are Isaiah and Muritere Apiata.
