A time will come when direction from the regions in selecting members on the governing body of Te Kōhanga Reo, but that time is not now.
The statement was made by Tīmoti Kāretu, chairman of the National Kōhanga Reo Trust, who today met with kōhanga from throughout the Mataatua-Tauranga Moana region.
