Police are working with the IPCA to review police pursuits.
This comes after the death of three people in a police pursuit in Nelson at the weekend.
They died after two cars collided. Two of them were in a vehicle fleeing police, and the third was a member of the public.
The review began last July and its findings are expected to be made available later this year.
