In just two days time winter will be upon us. On the same day, an environmental initiative, Pipiri ki a Papatuanuku will kick off.
Its aim is to challenge people to think more about the impacts our everyday decisions have on the environment.
Organisers say that if we make small changes, the environment will be better off.
