Former All Black Dan Carter is said to be returning to Super Rugby.
In a message from Blues Head Coach Leon Macdonald to players, he said the veteran playmaker will join the squad as injury cover for Stephen Perofeta.
Carter played 13 seasons with the Crusaders before he headed overseas to play in France and Japan.
