Monday was an important day for NZ's Black Sox men's team in their build-up to the World Championships in Albany in March this year.
The players are in Auckland for the annual Vic Guth Tournament and played in a warm-up game against an Auckland United All-Stars team.
Not only is it the 50th Anniversary of the United Club, the game gave the national side a chance to assess the return from injury of some key players.
