The three leading ladies in Hauraki-Waikato are tackling all the big issues and in the final segment of Native Affairs we reveal the preferred candidate and preferred party results of our Māori Television Reid Research Poll.

Contesting the Hauraki-Waikato electorate are the sitting MP, the Labour Party's Nanaia Mahuta, representing the MANA Movement, Angeline Greensilll and from the Māori Party, Susan Cullen.

In the final leg of her journey Mihingarangi Forbes takes us back to the Hauraki-Waikato rohe to the bustling city of Hamilton to find out what issues matter to the voters there.

Also in our last set of poll results we asked voters, if the election was held tomorrow, which of the candidates who are standing would you vote for?

10.4% of those polled would give their vote to the MANA Movement's Angeline Greensill, while 14% would vote for Susan Cullen of the Māori Party and things look good for the incumbent Nanaia Mahuta who is currently on 57%.

While 18.6% either said they would not vote for any of these candidates, did not know who they would vote for or would not be voting at all.

We also asked, if the election was held tomorrow, which political party would you vote for with your party vote?

NZ First sits at 8% and the Greens are on 9% while Internet-MANA is on 11%.

The Māori Party sits at 14%, ahead of National which is on 13%, and holding a strong lead in the region is Labour on 44%.
