Quick line-up change for Māori ABs heading into Japan match

There has been one change to the Māori All Blacks team who will play against Japan in Kobe this evening.

Japan will be coming into this game high on confidence with four from their last four test matches, their coach Eddie Jones is very experienced so the Māori All Blacks must be ready.

With that in mind, the Māori All Blacks have picked experienced players from the ITM Cup and Coach Colin Cooper has said, they're here to win and uphold the legacy of the Māori jersey.

Brendon Edmonds suffered a slight achilles strain at training on Thursday, and while it's disappointing for him, it gives Joe Royal another opportunity to take the field from the bench and add to his first cap against the USA last year.

The management are hoping Brendon will be fit for next week.
