Paul Henare to celebrate milestone in his career

Paul Henare was taken by surprise after being informed that Sunday will mark his 300th game as assistant coach and former player for the New Zealand Breakers.

"I actually had no idea. It's a pretty cool milestone but once you stop playing, you don't really think about it. It's been a big part of my life and obviously I've been a big part of the club," says Henare.

He was a part of the inaugural New Zealand Breakers team in 2003 and finally took their first ANBL in 2011.

Sunday’s game between the Breakers and Melbourne United for the Heritage Round will see teams play in special uniforms for the event.
