Super 8 light heavyweight four-man division looking fierce

The highly anticipated light heavyweight four-man division is expected to produce some world class boxing action at tonight’s Super8 fight night event.

One of the highlighted fights of the night will be Robert ‘The Butcher’ Berridge and Reece ‘Lightning’ Papuni who are predicted to meet in the final. Papuni is the current NZNBF Light Heavyweight champion who is ranked number two in the country.

Berridge says, “Hopefully he comes to fight, you know what I mean, that’s what I want then hopefully that KO will come.”

However, Berridge will need to stop Tongan champion, Sosefo Falekaono who represented Tonga at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Also entering the ring is middleweight kickboxing champion Brad "Quake" Riddell who has now stepped up a division to compete for the light heavyweight four-man division.

Fights are scheduled to begin at 7pm tonight at the SKYCITY Convention Centre.
