Police have recovered a body today at Whangarei Falls.
It is believed that the body is that of the swimmer who went underwater yesterday at Whangarei Falls and failed to resurface.
Police have confirmed the scene where the body was recovered has since been blessed and is now reopened to the public.
The family of the victim is working with the Police and Victim Support.
