Two hundred care packs a week is a commitment that Ngāti Wai spokesperson Aperahama Edwards says is necessary to help iwi members get back on their feet after experiencing the effects of Covid-19.
A collaborative effort between Ngāti Wai Trust Board, Te Manawaroa o Ngāti Hine and Whangārei Takiwā started during the national lockdown and is noit slowing down anytime soon.
