This year's honour of winning the Te Whanganui a Tara Kapa Haka Regionals went to Ngā Taonga Mai Tawhiti.
Taking out top place in a number of sections, including Female Leader, Best Costume, Choral, Entrance, Mōteatea, Action Song, Poi and Haka, Ngā Taonga Mai Tawhiti were clearly a crowd-pleaser on the day.
The team has just over 12 months now to prepare for the national competition, Te Matatini, being held in Christchurch.
