High performance basketball students from the Paul Henare and Paora Winitana Basketball Academy are heading to America, for the AAU Basketball Tournament.
However they've issued a challenge, a haka challenge to be exact, and they want Ellen DeGeneres to take notice.
Educating America about the haka is what these kids want to do while they're on a dream basketball tour over there.
So the group has issued a haka challenge to Ellen DeGeneres in the hopes that she will take notice and see their video.
The Tall Black haka "Tū Kaha O Pango Kahikatea" took centre stage at the FIBA World Champs in September this year in front of millions of viewers, and it received mixed reactions.
With their Ellen haka challenge video uploaded to YouTube and Ellen Tube, these kids may just have their wish granted to meet some NBA players and perform the haka on Ellen.
