Local health providers Waipareira, He Kamaka Waiora, and East Tamaki Healthcare, have together unveiled a platform service that provides multiple support for patients managing diabetes.
The new clinic was opened this morning in Henderson, West Auckland, and specialist diabetes nurse, Coral Skipper (Ngāpuhi), says this will enable whānau to have a kōrero with a Māori clinical nurse specialist who can see them straight away.
