Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has announced all rest homes will effectively move into level 4 lock-down rules until at least midnight Friday.
“All aged care facilities will close their doors to everyone except staff.
“We are also working with the sector to ensure staff do not work across different sites,” Ardern says.
The Prime Minister feels confident that these are the best measures to take to protect the elderly who are the most vulnerable to the virus.
