Born out of a desire to support and uphold the prestige of the Tāmaki Makaurau Senior Kapa Haka regional competition, the newly-formed group Te Aroha o Ngā Tai bravely took the stage as the first group of the day.
Comprised of performers who share the common bond of a “natural love for haka”, according to performer, Hema Rihari, Te Aroha o Ngā Tai will be looking to leave an impression on the multitudes here at The Edge Theatre in Aotea Square today.
