Muhammad Ali, the greatest boxer the world has ever known has passed away.
According to CNN reports, 74-year old Ali had been at the Phoenix hospital in Arizona since Thursday because of a respiratory issue and passed away today surround by his family.
The three-time heavyweight champion leaves behind nine children and many grandchildren.
New Zealand Boxer Joseph Parker made the following tribute on his Facebook page, “Rest in peace to the greatest. Muhammad Ali you changed the game and you'll be forever missed #GOAT (greatest of all time)”
As fans all around the world grieve, further details around his funeral arrangements are yet to be announced.
