Caffe L’affare is opening a pop up Espresso Bar in Aotea Square to celebrate 25 years of local roasting in New Zealand as well as raising funds for the “Eat my Lunch” initiative.
Throughout next week, the Espresso Bar will exchange coffees for a gold coin donation, which will go towards helping a project that helps to alleviate poverty in New Zealand.
Eat my Lunch aims to feed kiwi kids in need. The initiative is so successful they now support 25 schools.
Cory Hodges from L’affare says, “We’re big admirers of Eat my Lunch and thought we could use the pop up to help Aucklanders support the fight against child poverty.”
The pop up Espresso Bar will open every morning at 7.30 – midday, from October 27 to October 31 in Aotea Square.
